Pro Bono Services/ Pay It Forward

Because her San Antonio practice, Covington-McGee Wedding & Christian Counseling, operates as an out-of-pocket, insurance-free clinic to protect client record privacy, out-of-pocket costs can create a financial barrier. The Spotfund initiative acts as a financial bridge to circumvent this limitation.

Direct Subsidies:

Community and network donations are collected through the Spotfund Campaign Link to cover standard out-of-pocket costs.

Target Audience:

Funded pro bono and heavily discounted slots are allocated to individuals facing extreme financial hardships, active-duty service members, low-income veterans, and grieving families.

Allocation of Funds:

Dr. McGee states that every dollar raised goes directly toward clinical hours to provide "the gift of healing to a hurting heart," bridging the gap between clinical fees and real client needs.

Alternative Financial Support Options

If you or someone you know requires low-cost therapy but the pro bono slots are full, Dr. McGee utilizes several other financial assistance avenues:

FSA & HSA Cards

We gladly accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards as payment. These accounts allow you to use pre-tax dollars toward eligible mental health services, making your sessions more affordable than paying out of pocket.

Sliding Fee Scale:

Standard clinical sessions can be manually adjusted down based on household income.
